Upon completing the volunteer registration form, you will receive instructions on how to complete a background check.

You will need to complete the registration form, a background check, and the media rights release before you will be allowed to help with Night to Shine.

Night to Shine 2026 will take place at Waymaker Church, located at 1650 Hooper Rd, Forest, VA 24551, from 6:30pm - 9:00pm.

ORIENTATION

Volunteers will be sent an orientation video with onboarding details. On the night of February 13, 2026, we ask that you plan to arrive as early as 4:30pm but no later than 5:00pm for a pre-event meeting.

Dinner will be provided for all volunteers from 5-6pm.

Note: For those volunteering with hair, make-up, and nail services, please plan to arrive at 4:30pm for set-up ahead of our pre-event meeting and dinner at 5:00pm. Guests’ hair, make-up, and nail services will begin at 5:30pm.

  • Consent to and complete a background check (instructions provided upon completing sign-up form)

  • Complete media rights release

  • Watch orientation video and attend pre-event meeting
